What is Apple AirTags? Everything We Know So Far

For those who are unaware of Apple AirTags, this is a small location tracking device that can be connected to your smartphone or tablet and track any item you've pinned AirTags to. Apple AirTags is a very compact device with a simple processor, it has light and motion sensors.

The patent also describes a special power management function that allows strengthening signal transmission depending on the location. Samsung also recently announced SmartTag and SmartTag +, Bluetooth-LE tracker.

Apple AirTags will allow users to locate and keep track of their personal belongings and also get notified when they are separated from a tagged item.

Apple AirTags has been in the news for quite some time now and it seems like they will be made official from next month.

Price of Apple AirTags?

The starting price is approximately $29 But looking at Apple AirTags patent documents, it will be clear that the apple tracker is far beyond Smart Tag's ability, especially in aspects of signal transmission.
