Angry Birds is back on Android and iOS
Good news for you Angry Birds fans. one of the first hugely popular mobile games which play on Android & iOS, is back in the Play Store and App Store after it was previously deleted due to the challenge of keeping games constantly updated within the rapid and continuous development of mobile technology. Rovio, the company behind the game, has announced the return of the original Angry Birds. It's now available in app stores with a new engine and no in-app purchases.
The game is now called "Rovio Classics: Angry Birds" and hit the Apple Store and Google Play Store is now available as a paid game for $0.99 (Rs 85) with no ads and in-app purchases within, and while Rovio states in the Play Store description that there are no ads, there is, in fact, a small icon on the home screen that leads to a few of Rovio's other titles (which is why the Play Store displays a disclaimer that the game contains ads). Beyond that, ads are nowhere to be seen.
Can you believe it's been 10 years since the oiginal Angry Birds game was first released by Rovio Entertainment? Haha, I definitely didn't expect that. Yes, Angry Birds was one most remarkable games in early release. With iconic characters in the form of birds and pigs, Angry Birds are becoming video game giants. Even the Angry Birds character franchise can be found everywhere like in cartoons, clothing, game cards, etc. The original Angry Birds game (often called Angry Birds Classic) was first released by Rovio Entertainment in 2012. This signature sticky gameplay game is immediately popular with many people. Even the original Angry Birds could be said to be the pioneer of the more modern Angry Birds games.
In a blog post, Rovio said that Rovio Classics:
Angry Birds creates “a more sustainable platform for the game to be offered on newer devices while preserving the authentic 2012 Angry Birds experience.” It is available for Android 6.0 and above and iOS 13 and above.
The new game isn’t however, free like the original Angry Birds was. It now comes with a one-time fee of $0.99 (Rs 85) However, the fee eliminates all ads and in-app purchases that were found on the original game. With no in-app purchases, players who purchase the new game can enjoy all power-ups.
